Which business should you buy first in GTA Online?
The answer depends on your cash: a purchase that pays well but costs ten times your budget is not a good first purchase. Here is the top of the properties ranked by earnings, and why your buying order is not another player’s.
Figures checked on October 29, 2026.
How the figures are calculated
In short: with $2,000,000, the purchase that earns the most per hour is “Arcade” ($1,235,000 in total): about $1,522,785 per hour thanks to the best activity it unlocks, paid back in 49 min of play.
The next properties
Sorted by dollars per hour of their best activity, over the full cycle.

This page gives the general answer. Your plan starts from you, and everything you fill in makes it more precise:
Your cash : the ranking sets aside what you cannot afford yet and lifts what pays the most with what you have.
What you own : it counts what is already unlocked and does not make you buy again what you have.
Your crew : solo, two or four players is not the same list.
Your time : it keeps only what fits your evening.
Your goal : it puts everything back in order to get there, and tells you what to buy first.
After a few questions, first place is no longer necessarily the one shown here: it is yours.
See my rankingWhy the order matters
The most expensive property is not always the best: what matters is what the activity it unlocks earns relative to its price.
The figure is that of the best activity the property unlocks, waiting time included; the passive income of some properties is not counted.
It is a decision aid, not a promise: prices and payouts change with game updates, which is why the check date is at the top of the page.
This page is the general one. Your plan is about you.
Tell VicePeak three things: your plan builds itself in front of you, with figures worked out for your game.
Your ranking, just for you. Recalculated from your cash, what you own, your crew and your time. What ranks first here can be far behind for you.
Your first purchase, and the next. What to buy with your money, in what order, with the payback time of each purchase.
Short steps. A plan in ten steps at most: the activities to run and their order, with nothing to look up elsewhere.
A plan that moves with you. When you finish it, the next one takes into account what you earned. Your progress and net worth stay tracked.
