How VicePeak calculates the earnings of a GTA Online activity
VicePeak is an independent web tool that ranks the ways to make money in GTA Online and builds a step-by-step plan from the player’s cash, crew and time. This page explains how the figures are calculated, where they come from and what they do not tell you.
Figures checked between August 29, 2026 and October 29, 2026.
In short: an activity’s earnings are its average payout divided by the full cycle time, the imposed wait included.
The formula
Earnings per hour = average payout ÷ cycle time.
The average payout is the middle of the payout range recorded for the activity.
The cycle time is the play time, preparation included, plus the wait imposed before you can cash out, when there is one.
Example with “Hangar Smuggling”: $1,285,714 per hour if you only count 35 min of play, but $113,924 per hour once the 6 hrs wait is counted.
What is counted, and what is not
Counted: play time, preparation, the wait imposed before selling.
Shown separately for each activity in your plan: the purchase needed first, the number of players required and the repeat limit imposed by the game.
Not counted: time spent outside the game, and the variations specific to your session.
Where the figures come from
Payouts, durations and prices are taken from public sources in the player community, with, for each figure, the date of its latest check.
The methods were checked between August 29, 2026 and October 29, 2026.
The check date of the figures shown can be read at the top of each ranking page.
What these figures do not tell you
They are averages computed from ranges: your session may earn more or less.
The game changes with every update: a figure several weeks old may no longer be exact, hence the date shown.
They are estimates, not promises.
What VicePeak is not
VicePeak does not sell game money, boosting services, mods or accounts.
It never connects to your game account and never asks for your Rockstar password: you tell it your situation.
It changes nothing in the game and is not for cheating: it helps you choose what to play and what to buy.
VicePeak is spelled with a “c” and has no connection with other services with a similar name.

This page is the general one. Your plan is about you.
Tell VicePeak three things: your plan builds itself in front of you, with figures worked out for your game.
Your ranking, just for you. Recalculated from your cash, what you own, your crew and your time. What ranks first here can be far behind for you.
Your first purchase, and the next. What to buy with your money, in what order, with the payback time of each purchase.
Short steps. A plan in ten steps at most: the activities to run and their order, with nothing to look up elsewhere.
A plan that moves with you. When you finish it, the next one takes into account what you earned. Your progress and net worth stay tracked.
Analyses before you buy. The analysis shows what to play and what to buy to reach what you are after, vehicles included.
